We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Capital Raising Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure funding for the company’s growth and expansion projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the financial markets, strong networking skills, and a proven track record in capital raising within the aviation or related sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive capital raising strategies to support the company's financial goals and expansion plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, venture capitalists, private equity firms, and financial institutions.
  • Plan, organize, and lead capital raising campaigns, including equity and debt financing, to secure the necessary capital.
  • Prepare detailed financial proposals, business plans, and pitch decks to present to potential investors and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential funding opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends and investor preferences.
  • Oversee the due diligence process for potential investors, ensuring all financial and operational information is accurately presented.
  • Lead negotiations with investors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Ensure all capital raising activities comply with local and international regulations and standards.
  • Prepare regular reports on capital raising activities, progress, and outcomes for the senior management and board of directors.
  • Work closely with the finance, legal, and operations teams to align capital raising activities with the company’s overall strategy and objectives.

Job requirements

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital raising, investment banking, private equity, or a related financial role, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of capital markets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and financial institutions.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the aviation industry and its financial dynamics is a significant advantage.
