We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Financial Modeller to join our finance team. The Financial Modeller will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, excellent quantitative skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop various types of financial models such as 3 statement model, DCF, M&A, LBO etc.
  • Perform various valuation methods – comparable companies, precedents, and DCF
  • Asses, rebuild and automate where possible existing financial models
  • Provide analysis and outputs from the model for presentation to management
  • Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations
  • Prepare materials such as including investment memorandum, management presentations, and pitchbooks
  • Conduct research, analysis, and due diligence investigations
  • Review financial information (such as financial statements and relevant industry ratios) and market trends
  • Create presentations for potential investors
  • Assess and suggest investment opportunities
  • Prepare budgets and update the actuals regularly
  • Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement)

Job requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Candidate should have at least three years of experience in finance, business or consultancy firm background
  • Related investment banking or industry experience – not less than 5 years
  • Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
  • Candidate should have strong financial modelling skills, proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially in Microsoft Excel, VBA and Power Point) and
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • An excellent communicator and resilient team player, even in challenging circumstances
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
