Its global network of offices, suppliers and partners is continually expanding.
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Financial Modeller to join our finance team. The Financial Modeller will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and analyzing financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning. This role requires a deep understanding of financial principles, excellent quantitative skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop various types of financial models such as 3 statement model, DCF, M&A, LBO etc.
- Perform various valuation methods – comparable companies, precedents, and DCF
- Asses, rebuild and automate where possible existing financial models
- Provide analysis and outputs from the model for presentation to management
- Develop recommendations for product offerings, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and valuations
- Prepare materials such as including investment memorandum, management presentations, and pitchbooks
- Conduct research, analysis, and due diligence investigations
- Review financial information (such as financial statements and relevant industry ratios) and market trends
- Create presentations for potential investors
- Assess and suggest investment opportunities
- Prepare budgets and update the actuals regularly
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement)
Job requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Candidate should have at least three years of experience in finance, business or consultancy firm background
- Related investment banking or industry experience – not less than 5 years
- Candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.
- Candidate should have strong financial modelling skills, proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially in Microsoft Excel, VBA and Power Point) and
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- An excellent communicator and resilient team player, even in challenging circumstances
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations
- Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
